We located to the Bay Area in May and settled into an Airbnb in SF to have a “home base” while we joined the throngs of other people also seeking out a home in the area. We initially envisioned living in the East Bay but after getting a taste of living in San Francisco knew that living in the city was where we were meant to be. We parted ways with our real estate agent in Berkeley and started all over. This stressed me out and prompted me to immediately grab a beer (a 21st Amendment Blood Orange IPA, DELICIOUS!) out of the fridge, look my wife in the eye, and say “Now what?” Thankfully my wife was way ahead of me in the process and had been searching for agents in the city all along. She showed me Kevin and Jonathan’s (and Raffi’s!) website and that was that. It was almost like it was written specifically for us. We reached out to them that same evening and we met with Kevin the very next day.
That first meeting was beyond educational. Kevin spent three hours with us explaining the complexities of the San Francisco market, helping us narrow down our neighborhood search, setting a budget (a realistic one! This is SF after all!), and helping us with a new mortgage lender that is known in the city to close fast. We walked out of that meeting and felt like we not only secured the best agent duo in SF, but had made new friends. And since we’re new to SF and have no friends, we need all the friends we can get. 🙂
They were in constant contact with us, even when they were on vacation, checking in and sending us listings of new homes that had come on the market or were about to. Fast forward six weeks and we’re officially San Francisco home owners! Let me be clear, if it wasn’t for Kevin and Jonathan lighting a fire underneath us, we NEVER would have landed this property. Not only is it EXACTLY the kind of home and in the RIGHT neighborhood we wanted, but we got it within our budget thanks to their expert negotiation skills. In short, there was a very limited amount of time to make this deal and had we waited we certainly would have lost this home to another buyer paying a higher price. The appraisal verified that. And I’ll never forget receiving the congratulatory text that the home was ours. It was a feeling of excitement and nausea rolled into one (it wasn’t the Mexican food I had eaten earlier in the Mission. Home-buying is stressful!).
And here’s another reason that J & K stand out among the crowd, they don’t just disappear once the paperwork has been signed and the keys handed over. They are currently helping us through the process of painting, backsplash installation, lighting updates, etc. They literally know someone for EVERY type of work you need done, even estate planning, and they hold your hand throughout this process much like they did when we were searching for a home. We could not be more thankful for their expertise and friendship. To put it simply, they are the BEST!
P.S. Picking paint colors SUCKS! Why are there so many damn colors?!

We worked primarily with Kevin on our search for a new home in San Francisco. As first time buyers unsure of exactly what we wanted, not to mention where in the city we wanted to be, Kevin was very patient and generous with his time in order to help us figure out what would best fit our desires and budget. With the training and attention-to-detail of a lawyer and the eye of a designer, Kevin has all the right skills. He is personable, professional, hard-working and well-connected amongst agents in the city. Kevin ultimately found an off-market property in Noe Valley, at the right price, that is perfect for us.
He knew it, we knew it, and within 24 hours of seeing the property we had a signed contract.
We were able to move with speed and confidence because of our trust in Kevin, the time he took to educate us in advance throughout our search, and his outstanding market knowledge. We are nothing but happy with our new home and with the outstanding service Kevin provided. Even now, Kevin and Jonathan are only a text or email away with recommendations or answers to our questions. We highly recommend working with K&J.

Having worked a few years after graduation from undergraduate or graduate school these men and women have saved up a good amount of money and are successful in their jobs and careers. Each of them is familiar with technology and are happy to text and email; each will research a purchase thoroughly but ultimately believe in the value and potential of real estate.
Having worked a few years after graduation from undergraduate or graduate school these men and women have paired up and have had a good amount of professional success. They’ve saved up a good amount of money and may have some family help in their purchase. Research and information is important but the potential a property has — in its current state or after some renovation — may trump as will the neighborhood as the couple thinks about having a family.
Having worked a number years and probably having owned at least 1 property, these folks know about home ownership benefits and are looking to buy a bigger home for an expanding family or are also eying an investment property opportunity too. They’re typically busy and are coordinating a work-life-family balance; so text messages are good.
These folks may have another career and a primary home but are also interested in doing real estate development and/or investment. They’re more numbers-driven but have more flexibility as their timeline may be longer as they may have more time to realize a return.
Development and building are these folks’ career and profession. While the real estate rodeo isn’t new for our developer clients each property is new to them. These folks will ask us for our thoughts about a neighborhood, design and long-term strategies and investment returns.
While our clients are advised to hold their property in the best possible manner to insulate themselves from estate, tax and liability issues, the clients we’re referring to here are ones who view real estate in very long terms across generations.
At $245K over asking and $441K over initial estimated sales price they knocked the sale of my husband’s condo out of this world. I wouldn’t be surprised if they set a sales price record for the area! Kevin and Jonathan are without a doubt the most amazing real estate duo we have ever met. If we could we would give them more stars we would!
They took my husband’s tired old pink-carpeted condo and transformed it into a beautifully chic contemporary home. Kevin’s keen negotiating skills helped us stave off possible issues with neighbors during the renovation project. This renovation was entirely run by Kevin and Jonathan and their team. We live out of state and were very concerned with just being able to remove personal property and clean the place. It was quite a conundrum. Enter Kevin and Jonathan(and of course Raffi, their adorable black lab!). Within a couple of days of explaining to them the situation and some “hiccups” we were having with the condo, the condo was on its way to being transformed.
Kevin worked tirelessly overseeing the renovation project and Jonathan calmed my frazzled nerves more than once.( Basically Jonathan was the calm and Kevin the storm) They kept us informed the entire time by sending photos and video’s of the progress and answering endless emails and texts. When my husband and son had make a trip to San Francisco for condo related business, Kevin and Jonathan were there to help them with accommodations and even met with them at night to discuss the progress of the renovation
Once the property was ready for sale, they quickly placed it on the market and just as quickly sold it! We had a broker’s open midweek and then a public open house the following Sunday. Monday we received offers, and Tuesday we were under contract. Then the following Monday we closed. We simply can’t say enough about these two wonderful guys
Our advice is, just trust their judgment and expertise and you will be very, very pleased!
We recently closed on our home purchase after working with Kevin for several months. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Kevin. He’s personable, helpful, tech-savvy, and extremely dedicated!
After initially meeting with Kevin on a visit to SF, we continued our relationship with him mostly over PhotoStreams and Youtube videos as he continually went to view homes for us, sending the feedback and electronic media to us all the way in Singapore!!! His familiarity with social media and technology made the process extremely efficient.
When we relocated back to SF, this level of service continued, albeit now with a lot of personal 1:1 time and joint house tours. Kevin is a very opinionated realtor, but I say this in a good way. There were many homes that we were willing to bid on in what was a very challenging market, but thankfully Kevin kept our best interests in mind. Rather than going for a quick close, he actually talked us out of a few homes to make sure we stayed true to our criteria.
In the end, we found a perfect home and with room to do some renovations to meet our criteria. Kevin now voluntarily continues on in the architecture and planning phases as a consultant, further helping to give us the house of our dreams. Although most importantly, Kevin now continues in capacity as a true friend to our family and we look forward to continuing our relationship in a strictly non-professional way 😉
We were very happy with Kevin as our buying agent when we bought our Noe Valley house. We got a great house in a great neighborhood and we weren’t even the highest bidders at the time.
When it came time to sell, however, we didn’t know how it would go with Kevin and Jonathan because we only worked with them as buying agents. But as soon as we told them we wanted to sell our house they started working on it right away even though our sale was 5 months away. They worked with us, our constraints and schedules to come up with plans, options and directions on how to make the house even more appealing.
We were skeptical at some of the suggestions at first and their insistence that we go to market because we had unsolicited offers that were very tempting. We chose to go ahead and place our faith in Kevin and Jonathan and we’re glad that we did.
They took care of issues that came up (like the stager’s weird choices the first day they were there) and went out of their way by doing things like talking with us about questions we had late into the night, getting supplies for the house and giving us their opinions and advice on how to complete disclosure materials. Kevin and Jonathan were engaged with us and selling our home every day, which helped the process tremendously. Kevin and Jonathan’s work ethic and dedication is bolstered by their sense of design and style. They turned our charming home into a sophisticated and elegant house you’d see in a catalog.
Selling a house can be a long and intense process that can be frustrating at times but the results we got from Kevin and Jonathan’s patience, creativity and hard work beat our expectations by a long shot.

All good things come to those that wait! While that’s not really my motto, it turned out to be true for our house search and Kevin was there for the long haul.
He was recommended by my coworker and I liked him instantly, he is all about the clients and their needs. He is super responsive, techy, with a great eye for design and has great ideas and network to help with remodeling, design, etc. He was a lawyer in his previous life, so he’s great at reviewing contracts and has the legal expertise.
Our search started in 2012, which was an awful year without much on the market, so we got to know Kevin and he got to know us and what we liked and didn’t like and what our goals were. Then came 2013, with a bit more on the market it was a crazy competitive market. We put in about 5 offers and were outbid every time so things got a bit frustrating. Kevin was very encouraging and told us the right place would come along.
He always sent us places he thought would be good, looked at every place we put in offers and gave us his professional opinion. He even talked us out of a few places where he thought we were caving to the pressure of finding a place — not that anything was pushing us to move except our own desire to buy. He really wanted us to buy a place we loved and felt comfortable in financially.
Finally, in 2014 there were more places on the market, prices were high and new construction started to come out and we found the one we love. The benefit of new construction is that there is no bidding war and so we got the place we wanted even a bit below asking. Kevin was there every step of the way, set us up with a lender, painter, handy man and was there for all the paperwork, and of course getting our keys.
I can’t say enough about how great Kevin was an agent.
HAPPY BUYERS & SELLERS
Kevin’s enthusiasm with his profession was apparent when I first met him at an open-house he was hosting. When we were ready to work with a new agent, I had no hesitation to engage him. Kevin not only helped us find a new home in the ideal neighborhood, he also managed to sell our condo (very shortly after) way above asking. He is very knowledgeable with the SF market and has a vast network to provide insights to off-MLS availability. In fact we found our current place off-market from his contacts, and even worked with his recommended Mortgage Broker to secure our loan. He was a great resource for us during both the confusing buying & selling processes. I highly recommend him to help you procure or sell your property.
Kevin and Jonathan were our buying agents when we bought our Noe Valley condo last year. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and helped us close an awesome place in an amazing neighborhood.
We were on a very tight timeline and it was very reassuring to know that they were constantly sending us listings and looking out for us. Despite the tight timeline they told us to be patient (yes, even in this market!) and not to compromise on the important fundamentals. They helped organize private showings, walkthroughs, connected us with the inspection agents and guided us through the offer-writing process. They were always available and replied to all our emails, texts and phone calls -— day or night 🙂
We would highly recommend Kevin and Jonathan — their insight and knowledge of the SF market is amazing and they’ll help you find the right house.
Patiently continued to send me listings and opinions on houses until we found one that I loved, and then held my hand through the insanely stressful real estate process of San Francisco.
Does a great job of providing professional-looking documents and very tech savvy (inviting me to iPhoto albums of properties). Also did a great job pouring through disclosure packets with what stands out and what doesn’t (especially for a first time home buyer).
My wife and I interviewed three top agents in San Francisco before we decided to go with Kevin Ho (and Jonathan). Why?
#1 Kevin really pays attention to the details. When he describes a home, he doesn’t miss any of the small accents or elements that make the home special (or not so special). He can get busy sometimes but when you need to talk to him in the evening he’s always willing to spend the time and explain what is going on.
#2 Kevin was a lawyer in a former life. That means he understands a lot of the legal issues that other agents might miss or gloss over.
#3 Kevin has a ton of experience on both the buy and sell side.
Those are the three main reasons why my wife and I chose to work with Kevin, but the reason why YOU should choose Kevin is because he doesn’t give up and he does everything in his power to make sure you get what you want. We ran into some issues with our mortgage during the underwriting process but Kevin put us in touch with a different loan officer and together they got us over the finish line.
My advice or first time buyers – be patient and listen to advice. Take your time, don’t feel rushed. There are always more units out there. We found the home of our dreams in SF – and you will too!

Kevin, Jonathan, and Raffi (their adorable black lab) are a great team. We mostly interfaced with Kevin and Raffi. Kevin was willing to work within our budget to make the house look amazing. We also did a lot of work ourselves and he was very supportive of our ideas and opinions. Any opinion he wasn’t fond of, he let us know about his experiences within that realm and gave us the opportunity to make our own informed decisions.
We ended up selling a house we are proud of, and it went for way above asking!

The word to describe Kevin is EASY. He thinks of everything and makes the selling process easy. He sold my condo in SOMA within a month of listing it. There were a ton of details and logistics with this one. Not only was Kevin on top of every one of them, but he reminded me whenever I needed to do something.
And Kevin worked with what he had instead of bemoaning what he didn’t. I couldn’t afford staging, so he had the place painted and brought in a handy man. It was a lot cheaper, the place looked great and he found the workers AND monitored their work, so I didn’t have to miss my work. Best of all, Kevin knows the real estate business backwards and forwards and does all his homework. He was DEAD ON with everything he forecasted except for the sale price of my condo. He got more!
Lastly, Kevin is also an attorney. My sale had some legal questions pop up and he was able to advise me. It made me feel very secure to know he knew the law and I was operating within its parameters. So, if you want a realtor who lives and breathes your deal, keeps you constantly abreast of your property’s progress and does nice little things like pay for cleaning services himself, you have to call Kevin Ho. The era of the blue haired real estate yentas is over. We have ushered in the era of smart, technology literate, well-educated, vibrant deal closers like Kevin Ho. Thanks, Kevin.
I met Kevin while in a time crunch trying to purchase a house on a tight timeline. He immediately accommodated my timeline, working to meet every deadline while still ensuring I felt comfortable with every decision made. He promptly responded to every question and concern of mine, going far beyond his job to seek out information I requested (even going to downtown agencies to find documents I wanted to see).
He did background research for me on the history of the building, talking to former owners and agents to ensure we had all essential information before purchasing the property. Throughout the process he was warm and friendly, eager to ensure the property met my needs. Kevin has a great sense of humor, connects immediately with his clients, and approaches real estate through a personal lens (not a business sale).
I highly recommend Kevin to anyone interested in a reliable, efficient, and personable agent! He is wonderful!

I finally decided to hire him after he submitted to an hour of my rapid fire questioning on the sf real estate market where he drew lots of graphs to illustrate his points — this really impressed me but also proved a stronger understanding of the market than other realtors I spoke with. I can’t tell you how many times I went to an open house and a realtor told me something flat out wrong. I felt a lot of confidence throughout the process knowing I was working with someone who knew their stuff inside out.
Start the conversation with us that will lead to success and change.
My sister connected Kevin and me four years ago after she met him at an open house. Kevin graciously met with me while I was trying to find a mixed use property in SF. I was so impressed by his legal knowledge of housing, his depth & breadth of knowledge in the area, and his true passion for real estate and working with buyers to find the perfect fit.
Ever since meeting him, I have remained on his weekly newsletters. These are by far the most comprehensive “week in reviews” of SF realty. They turn a subject matter — the prospect of buying a home – that can usually be stressful into a fun and informed process.
Thanks, Kevin, and keep up your great work.

Prior to meeting Kevin, my wife and I felt lost as we started the process of looking to purchase our first home. Kevin was an excellent coach throughout the journey, holding our hand through every step, always available to answer any question (big or small). We worked with Kevin as buying agent and he was superb. He invested considerable time and energy to help us understand how the market and process here works (quite different vs UK) and is super-responsive, even to late-night emails/texts which was great due to our work commitments. Importantly, he had great suggestions and advice on making our offer compelling, helping us secure the property we really wanted despite not being all-cash nor the highest offer.
He’s opinionated which is great: his suggestions of open homes to visit were always excellent and he responded to our feedback to tune follow-ups; we’re also very pleased with his suggestions for what we might do to/with the place we’ve bought – he’d be a great interior designer if he wasn’t a realtor 🙂
We’re looking forward to continuing to work with him!

Kevin acted as our buying broker as we made our first purchase in SF in May 2014 when it was DEFINITELY a seller’s market. We were moving up from the Peninsula where we had rented for a year but were really moving from NYC where we had owned a few times before.
Since we were new to the Bay Area and had only made the trek from South Bay a few times, we were in real need of help when it came to understanding the character of neighborhoods. Kevin listened to our story and took the time to understand who we were and our personalities and then asked a few more questions to narrow down where we should live. His advice definitely helped us narrow down the choices and helped us with the all important targeting of our search.
Over the next couple months, we spent a lot of time pouring through listings together and going through the pros and cons of OHs that we stopped by on the weekend and he gave us very candid and honest responses to our questions including dissuading us from a couple of apartments that in retrospect would have been completely wrong for us.
When we finally found a place that we unquestionably loved, Kevin guided us through the process in winning a bidding war before the house even made it to its first public OH. He helped quell a lot of the eleventh hour jitters and pushed us in the helpful way not the overbearing way. Ultimately, we were absolutely delighted with the purchase and he was integral in the process and could not recommend him more to others.
He has also been super helpful post closing in helping us get settled into our new neighborhood and giving us great recommendations for service people.
Thanks Kevin!

An attorney by training, Kevin is incredibly bright and extremely organized. He clearly knows the legal end of real estate, but also brings a very personal, well-researched knowledge of the market to his clients. We appreciated his respectfulness of our needs and wishes, but also his gentle guidance regarding current market conditions and realistic marketing strategies. As much as we needed his real estate prowess, we also greatly benefitted from his great fashion sense and aesthetic – he has a superb eye for staging and décor!
We certainly benefitted from his excellent communication and availability throughout the process. We could not recommend Kevin more highly!
He was humorous at times but serious when it came to making an offer for a house. Never once during our 4-month quest to buy our first house in the bay area did he get frustrated and push us towards a house that did not meet our expectations. My wife and I are very particular when it comes to buying a house.
Initially, Kevin showed us several houses in San Francisco that we were never satisfied with. With the limited inventory of real estate in San Francisco we were forced to shift our search south but Kevin never got frustrated with us and instead kept us positive and encouraged us to “keep up the hunt” by telling us that we were getting close.
After putting in 7 unsuccessful bids in San Francisco and the Bay Area Kevin stuck with us until we hit pay dirt! Ultimately, our 8th bid was a winner and we got our dream house in San Jose (Kevin typically deals with real estate in San Francisco). We commend Kevin for his patience and positive attitude.
We owe Kevin a debt of gratitude for being patient with us, humility, and for keeping us positive until we found our “dream house” in San Jose!
I met Kevin at an open house in the sunset district and was impressed by his warm and engaging personality immediately. He soon began to help me find a place that I can call home. He was very receptive to my needs and easy to work with. He loves what he does and publishes his weekly newsletter on real estate which he sends to his clients regularly. I am very blessed to have him as my agent and would recommend him to anyone that needs to find a place to live in this beloved city of San Francisco.
We’ve known Kevin for 2 years – we sold our first house through Kevin 2 years ago, and just bought a new house with him. Simply put, the fact that we didn’t even think of any other agent when we decided to buy a house again demonstrates our trust and faith in Kevin.
In both the buying and selling scenario, we couldn’t have been more pleased with Kevin. Best things about working with Kevin:
Overall, buying or selling a house is a stressful time, and knowing that there’s someone you can call/email whenever you want, and that you know has your back goes a long way. As long as Kevin’s in real estate, he has customers in us.

As first time homebuyers, we were very new to the whole process of purchasing a home in San Francisco and felt extremely anxious. We wanted our agent to be available to answer our every question, reassure us about every concern and walk us through every step of a home buying process. Kevin did just that! Additionally, we were on a very tight deadline and had only two months to locate the property and close it, which also added a lot of pressure on Kevin and us.
Kevin walked us through every step and he explained every detail of winning an offer in a multi bidding world of San Francisco real estate market. Kevin connected us to highly qualified team of lenders, real estate attorneys and appraisers. Kevin responded to all our emails, texts and phone calls in a timely manner.
Furthermore, there is no question you cannot ask Kevin. Kevin can find a solution to the most difficult situation and resolve it smoothly and fast. Additionally, besides being a real estate broker, Kevin is an attorney at law, and his law expertise helps tremendously with navigating SF real estate market.
We closed on the house within two months, during which we have located the property and made a winning offer. We cannot be happier with our new home. We became good friends with Kevin and we still ask for his advice and expertise. When we are ready to purchase the next property, we will only work with Kevin and so should you. If you are first time buyer or a seasoned one, Kevin will provide you with services that tailored to your specific needs.
It was great working with Kevin as my Realtor when I bought my first home. As a first time home buyer, I really didn’t know what to expect and I had a lot of anxiety with so many unfamiliar terms and thoughts of how am I ever going to make this work. Kevin took the time to explain to me how the process works and was there with me every step of the way.
During our initial meeting, we discussed areas to live, price ranges (also set me up with several financial brokers to get me pre–qualified), and what are my requirements for a place (garage, laundry in the building, etc). Gathering all that information, he went to work and came up with a bunch of listings for me to review. He also went to open houses every week and when he saw a place that fit my criteria, we would go to see it together.
On one of the open houses he went to, he saw a place that he thought would be a good fit for me. It met my criteria and the price was recently reduced so he thought I we should check out the place together. After we saw the place, we discussed it and put in an offer that was accepted by the sellers. He also advised we go in with a stronger offer than what was originally planned since it would be less likely the sellers would reject the offer and he was right.
It is an added bonus to have your Realtor also an attorney and certified mediator. During the inspection, Kevin negotiated on my behalf with the seller’s Realtor about providing credits for a couple of things we found during the inspection. Since I was pre–qualified for the loan the funds were available for the close of escrow. The escrow would have closed in about a month but there was an issue that was holding it up. Kevin was there to ensure that I would not pay for any additional fees to keep the escrow open while the issue was resolved.
In summary I got more than a Realtor. I got someone who was there for me at every step of the process. Kevin was committed to me as a client. Whenever I had questions, he would always provide answers. He looked after my interests and represented me during negotiations with other Realtors and financial brokers. If I had to do it all again, Kevin will be getting another call from me.

I met Kevin at an open house when the realtor I was working with (Rick Mei) took me to meet him. I was very impressed by his knowledge and expertise of the SF market.
The three of us got to work to get my home ready for the market, which we did in 2 weeks. Kevin made a number of suggestions about the place and it’s staging that seemed a little odd to me but remembering that he knew what I was talking about, I went along with them. Every single one of his suggestions were spot on and made the property shine. Even when he was on vacation, the advice kept on flowing.
The same thing went when discussing the marketing plan, pricing and property description. The advice from both Rick and Kevin enabled me to achieve an offer that was in excess of what I thought was possible.
Again gathering and completing the documentation. Both Rick and Kevin, along with [their transaction coordinator] in the office, provided me with all the support I needed.

Kevin is funny and personable, and knows how to get the job done. Since this was our first time buying a house and San Francisco has a wacky market, the first time we met with Kevin he took the time to sit down with us and give us the low down on San Francisco real estate, which we really appreciated.
Kevin is always available, whether it be via text message, email, or phone call. He was very responsive and hard working. Additionally, Kevin sends all his clients weekly updates about new homes that are available and how the market is looking. He helped us find the perfect house, and we couldn’t be happier. While I have not purchased/sold property with Kevin, I have viewed many, many homes with him. I am impressed with his person touch towards meeting his customers needs.
He focuses on finding a home that will fit his client’s lifestyle. When he reviews open houses, he discusses what aspects of the home are good as is and points out ways it could be improved to meet one’s hopes and desires. He’s looking for a match, not just a sale.

Just closed on a home purchase with Kevin and Jonathan. It was a whirlwind purchase 10 days between seeing the home and landing it. In this competitive real estate market, I appreciated the honest and constructive input to craft an offer that was meant to win (5 competing offers).
When viewing the open house, Kevin pointed out potential issues and whether they were a big deal to repair. When I reviewed the pest and building inspection reports, he was spot on in his assessment.
Now it is on to selling my condo and of course these guys will be representing me! Kevin has been instrumental in driving a remodel to bring out the best in my property before it hits the market.
Admittedly, I was very skeptical of the whole home buying process. I really never had much interest in buying (in the city at least), but I ended up having to leave my apartment and was planning to rent again until discovering how ridiculous rent had gotten in the last couple years. I was looking at a bunch of open houses using other online resources, and met Kevin at one of them. He seemed like a smart, personable, honest guy who knew his stuff, and (importantly to me) was a little less sale-sy than most of the agents I had run into.
I also appreciated how he was very willing to interact by phone, email, text, fb, whatever you prefer, whatever time works for you, and he also had some helpful home previews on his youtube channel. I was still skeptical, but gave him my contact info and he started sending me listings. He quickly discerned what I liked, and even when I was ready to throw in the towel and just find a rental because my timeline got unexpectedly shortened, he kept at it and managed to find the place that I ended up buying. The place wasn’t even listed, so I feel very fortunate.
I never underestimate the role of luck and the right place/right time factor, but Kevin’s network, understanding of what I wanted and continuous effort were huge factors in me getting this place. Once I decided, the process went as smoothly as I could have hoped.
There were several factors that made my transaction slightly different than the norm, but Kevin handled them all seemingly with ease and I got a new home that I love in a very tight timeframe.
Just so I don’t sound too unobjective, I will say that I’m still not totally convinced you always need a traditional real estate agent, but for me, and I’m sure for a lot of other people with time constraints and/or other complicating factors, Kevin was definitely more than worth the price (in potential savings by using an alternative service) and I definitely wouldn’t have gotten the awesome place I have today if I hadn’t worked with Kevin.
In addition to all his diligence, experience and organization, he brought a ton of positive intangibles as well, which helped make the process less intimidating and burdensome than I imagined it being, and I have enthusiastically recommended him to several friends who are thinking about starting to look at buying. Being that buying a home is one of the biggest decisions most people make in their lives, I think that’s the highest compliment you can give someone. Thanks, Kevin.

Throughout our yearlong process, Kevin demonstrated several times that he truly had my best interest in mind. There were places I was interested in that he could have gone along with to close a sale, but instead he told me his concern with the given property and steered me away.
As I was getting “shopper’s fatigue” in this highly competitive market, I was about to make an offer on a property that was very nice and high quality, but not quite what I was looking for. Kevin perceived I was compromising more that I was comfortable with and told me to hold off. He was right on. Three weeks later the home I had been seeking for more than a year hit the market!
Kevin guided me through the offer process and we truly threaded the needle. As is typical in San Francisco, there were six offers on the home I wanted. We made a solid but not extravagant initial offer. Several other offers came in at about the same range, and after further negotiation we won the deal with only a slight increase in our offer price. We bid enough to secure the house but hardly a dollar more.
Kevin is very outgoing, personable and inquisitive, which are great assets that give him tremendous intelligence about the market. He thus knows what will be hitting the market, sometimes months in advance and is able to guide a client to the right property at the right price.
Finally, Kevin is very fun to work with, which makes what can be a stressful process much more pleasurable. It has been a great experience for my girlfriend and me and I feel very luck to have landed the place I did at the price I paid.

Kevin is super-responsive and available on phone/text/facebook for any and every question in the process. With his legal background and passion for real estate, I felt confident in the decisions he helped me make – from which offer to accept on my previous condo, to what to offer and accept with the new condominium, to all the details in documentation and also looking at alternative homes as a backup plan.
This is my second time buying a home, and the experience this time around with Kevin as my agent was *night and day* compared to my first agent. I wouldn’t have changed anything Kevin helped me accomplish in the process, and he’s been in touch since I’ve closed on my new place making sure I’m settling in okay. He’s also up-to-date with the latest tools to conduct the transaction, so there will be e-copies of everything and no excessive amount of pointless, time-wasting appointments to sign/review paperwork.
If you have Kevin on your side, I think you will end up with a real advocate for your needs who can streamline the entire home buying process for you.
You knew we were interested in a house, but it had been a while (a year?) since we had seen each other or discussed real estate. You remembered us though, and when we ran into each other a month ago (you were rushing to the pet store to get food for your dog), you stopped what you were doing and took the time to catch up and describe a house you thought might be a perfect match for us. Indeed, it was a perfect match for us, and two days later when we stopped by to see it in person, we fell in love with it the minute we walked inside.
Buying a house is complicated, and there are numerous factors to consider and decisions to make. You helped us understand all of these, and you made yourself constantly available to answer our questions. You helped us craft an offer that the seller accepted over the others, including one that was all cash. We feel so lucky that we had you on our side. Without your help and guidance, none of this would have happened.
We were impressed by your attentiveness to all the architectural details of the house, and by your thoughtful suggestions on all sorts of aesthetic options. We look forward to keeping you in the loop on changes we may make in the future.
You were friendly and helpful, but also a consummate professional throughout the entire process. We highly recommend your services to anyone else who might be interested in buying or selling a home.

Kevin and Jonathan were our listing agents for selling our Sunnyside home. He immediately saw the potential with our property and laid out an ambitious yet affordable plan to best ready the house for sale. From construction to staging, Kevin’s contacts were trustworthy and competent. The house was finished on deadline and never looked better. Kevin and Jonathan sold the property for $100k over our asking price and nearly DOUBLE what we had purchased it for less than three years prior.
What sets Kevin apart is his attention to detail and responsiveness. He was always available to answer my questions, solve problems, communicate with workers, and most importantly act as a mediator between my former partner and me. I can also say that Kevin has integrity. I knew immediately I could trust him with my most valued asset.
There is no broker who will go to the lengths that Kevin goes to and takes care of his clients and their properties.

When I started looking for a place at the start of the year, I knew the San Francisco market was competitive, but I had no idea how fast-moving and short on supply it was. Kevin was the perfect agent to handle these difficult conditions. He was always very responsive to texts, had great connections to all sorts of people, and constantly shared photos and documents relevant to the places we visited.
When it came time to make an offer, Kevin really pulled through at coordinating all the necessary parties to get the offer ready on a last-minute schedule. He followed through in ensuring that we closed escrow within an aggressive 17-day timeline. With Kevin I know, I have someone I can continue to rely on for future advice and needs in real estate. Plus, he’s a super friendly dude.
